Koi Kanji Widget privacy
How the Koi Kanji Widget Android app handles information.
Summary
Koi Kanji Widget does not require an account, and Aonami Studio does not collect, sell or share personal data for advertising purposes. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or user profiles.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your settings, dictionary language, favourites, viewed or hidden kanji, collections, widget configuration, history and exercise statistics locally. This data is used solely to make the learning and customisation features work on your device.
System backups
Depending on your Android and account or device settings, the system may include some of this local data in backup or device-transfer features. Aonami Studio does not receive this data and cannot access your Google Account. You can manage backups in Android settings.
Network connections
The English dictionary is included in the app. If you choose another language, the app optionally downloads the corresponding package from GitHub Releases and checks its integrity before installing it. This connection means GitHub may receive standard technical network data, such as your IP address, under its own policy. Pronunciation uses the text-to-speech engine available on your device; Koi Kanji Widget does not send text or store audio.
Google Play purchases
The app may offer one-time, non-consumable purchases to unlock levels or the complete catalogue. Google Play handles payments and billing information. The app keeps only confirmed product identifiers locally so it can restore access; it does not store card details, billing data or purchase tokens.
Permissions and recipients
The app uses internet access and network status only to download optional dictionaries and communicate with Google Play Billing. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or shared storage.
Deletion and contact
You can delete local data through Android settings, by uninstalling the app or by clearing its data. If you have a privacy question, write to support@aonamistudio.com.
Changes
We will update this policy before adding a feature that materially changes how data is handled. The date above identifies the current version.
